Her Story

Before starting NPG PR in 2010, Nicole Pope Gaia has seen an expansive and successful career in the entertainment and public relations industries. Gaia has worked with and managed publicity for a plethora of clients including lifestyle brands, entertainment properties, celebrities and global corporations. She has spearheaded countless Lifestyle, Entertainment and Consumer Publicity campaigns, as well as handled Corporate Communications and Crisis Management for such clients as Nissan North America, Microsoft and Mars Inc.

Gaia began her career at E! Networks as a segment and field producer covering the red carpet and backstage for shows including the Academy Awards, Emmy Awards and Grammy Awards. Gaia moved on to serve as Talent Executive for all E! Programming including E! News, True Hollywood Story, stunt series' and E! specials. Following her 5+ years at E!, she joined Central Talent Booking and secured celebrity talent for a variety of programs and networks including Punk'd, Dr. Phil, Food Network and Comedy Central. In 2005, CMT (Country Music Television) brought Gaia to Nashville, TN from Los Angeles where she was Corporate Communications Manager and led campaigns for the CMT Music Awards, Miss America Pageant, CMT Top 20 Countdown and Network series. In subsequent years, Gaia was lead PR executive on shows such as Bravo's “Tabatha's Salon Takeover” and NBC’s “The Biggest Loser.” She joined Edelman, the world’s largest independent PR firm, in 2007 and was account lead for Nissan North America and Mars Petcare.

Her Expertise

Gaia's propensity for seeing the bigger picture and driving key messaging makes her a valuable asset in the development, activation and follow through on any campaign. At NPG, she has developed a diverse roster at NPG PR including music, consumer, entertainment, literary, technology and sports clientele.

Gaia is a proud graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Mass Communications.  She is an alumnus of the 24th class of Leadership Music, a program designed to create a forum for established music community leaders to identify and explore issues affecting the music industry. Gaia has been recognized as one of this year's Top 40 Under 40 by the Nashville Business Journal.
